The worst tragedy is that the uncontrolled mind steals our consciousness away from Krishna and that is the beginning, the essence of all suffering.

Our main disease is to collect objects that are not related to Krishna.

Great souls are merciful. Srila Prabhupada was pleased with the little things that someone did, even if that person had all bad qualities. His being pleased was his mercy, because he knew that if he was not pleased, Krishna will not be pleased and if Krishna was not pleased there was no hope for that person’s spiritual advancement.

Real tolerance is not just tolerating for the sake of tolerating. It's tolerating difficulties in order to give pleasure to Krishna and to serve others.

Krishna insisted on outer cleanliness and inner cleansing. Clean clothes and clean minds are an ideal combination.

Be very humble when you plan so that Krishna is happy with you.

When one transcends Basu, desires, he becomes Dev, the Lord; that is, he becomes Basudev, or Lord Krishna.

Suffering of the soul means to be without Krishna.

In every situation, the way to analyze real pleasure is to evaluate how we are connecting with Krishna and how we are giving pleasure to Krishna.

Unless we hear very strictly with great faith to the order of our spiritual master, we will not understand what the mercy of Krishna is and how it is coming upon us.

Whatever Krishna does with us is to increase our quality of love for him.

There has never been a prison built by man that people haven’t figured out how to escape. But what kind of prison Krishna has created…no walls, no guards and although everyone is suffering in this world no one wants to get out.

I am not of this body, not of this world; I am of Krishna, and Krishna is of me.

Spiritual master is representative of God. Similarly, king is also representative of God. The father is also representative of God. These are the statements of the sastras. Because they will guide. The king will guide. The spiritual master will guide. The father will guide. What is that guidance? That guidance is how one can become Krishna Conscious by education, by culture.

This chanting of the Hare Krishna mantra is enacted from the spiritual platform and thus this sound vibration surpasses all lower strata of consciousness - namely sensual, mental and intellectual.
