Discerning placement of a comma does not atone for a spiritual coma.

One day, it was suddenly revealed to me that everything is pure spirit.

Everything is Spirit - in essence, though hidden in manifestation. If you had the perception, you would see God in everything.

As God is omnipresent in the cosmos but is undisturbed by its variety, so man, who as a soul is individualized Spirit, must learn to participate in this cosmic drama with a perfectly poised and equilibrated mind.

When people lose faith in the natural goodness of the human character, the lack of trust in spiritual goodness, that is one reason why corruption has become so widespread today.

A soul who is not close to nature is far away from what is called spirituality. In order to be spiritual one must communicate, and especially one must communicate with nature; one must feel nature.

Every moment is perfect and sacred, and a divine power has engineered it in some imperceptible way and woven it into our intricate tapestry of life for our spiritual progress.

It is better to make a mistake with full force of your being than to carefully avoid mistakes with a trembling spirit.

Love is the most satisfying way to control the mind…Bhakti makes us single-minded when it awakens our innate spirit of love.

If a spiritual person has love, peace, self-control & compassion, we can understand that he/she is actually connected properly to his/her roots…

When we hear a spiritual discourse, we may feel we already know it, but when it comes to application, we forget it. Thus, it’s very important to practice spirituality for the practical application of spiritual knowledge.

God deliver me from people who are so spiritual that they want to turn everything into perfect contemplation, come what may.

A devotee is pleased when he sees others receive the mercy of the Spiritual master and the Lord. He is never envious of anyone.

Look after the root of the tree, and the fragrant flower and luscious fruits will grow by themselves. Look after the health of the body, and the fragrance of the mind and richness of the spirit will follow.

Spirituality is not to be learned by flight from the world, or by running away from things, or by turning solitary and going apart from the world. Rather, we must learn an inner solitude wherever or with whomsoever we may be. We must learn to penetrate things and find God there.

There is no origin of this universe—no cessation, no creation, nor destruction of this universe. There is nobody who is in bondage. There is nobody who is a spiritual seeker who is doing spiritual practices. There is nobody who is seeking liberation, and indeed nobody who is liberated. This is the ultimate truth.

I do feel there are countless people on earth who do not believe in the inner power, the inner life. They feel that the outer strength and the outer life are everything. I do not agree with them. There is an inner life; there is spirit, and my ability to lift these heavy weights proves that it can work in matter as well.

The lover of nature is he whose inward and outward senses are still truly adjusted to each other; who has retained the spirit of infancy even into the era of manhood. His intercourse with heaven and earth, becomes part of his daily food. In the presence of nature, a wild delight runs through the man, in spite of real sorrows.

The facts of nature cannot in the long run be violated. Penetrating and seeping through everything like water, they will undermine any system that fails to take account of them, and sooner or later they will bring about its downfall. But an authority wise enough in its statesmanship to give sufficient free play to nature - of which spirit is a part - need fear no premature decline.

Sometimes the river flows very strong, sometimes it flows very small, but it makes no difference to the ocean, because it is satisfied in itself with its own quantity of water. Similarly, when our heart is cleansed with spirituality, we find a pleasure and ecstasy with our own selves that is so sweet, so wonderful, and so satisfying that the so-called pleasures of this world no longer have any value, no appeal at all.

To play with baubles is our ambition, not to deal with grave questions in a spirit of serious energy. But while we are playing with baubles, with our Legislative Councils, our Simultaneous Examinations, our ingenious schemes for separating the judicial from the executive functions, - while we, I say, are finessing about trifles, the waters of the great deep are being stirred and that surging chaos of the primitive man over which our civilised societies are superimposed on a thin crust of convention, is being strangely and ominously agitated.

Without patience, one cannot progress on the spiritual path.

Just imagine what would happen if practicing physicians, the ones who have come into contact directly with suffering humanity, had some acquaintance with Eastern systems of healing. The Spirit of the East surges through every pore as a balm for all afflictions.
