After one arrives at the summit, after going through the total transformation of being...there is yet one more step to the completion of that journey: the return to the valley below, to the everyday world. Who it is that returns is not who began the climb in the first place. The being that comes back is quietness itself, is compassion and wisdom, is the truth of the ages. Whatever humble or elevated position that being holds within the community, he or she becomes a light for others on the way a statement of the freedom that comes from having touched the top of the mountain.

Inquire, investigate, doubt yourself and others. To find truth, you must not cling to your convictions; if you are sure of the immediate, you will never reach the ultimate. Your idea that you were born and that you will die is absurd – both logic and experience contradict it.

Truth can never be confined to time and culture; in history it is known, but it also reaches beyond history.

Love is not a higher quality than truth.

Truths are more than imagination; they are real. Yet their origin is a thought in the mind of God.

Truthfulness, chastity, simplicity, and equanimity are the four pillars of a pious life.

I love to follow truth; nay, I have made it my duty to persuade others to act on truth and abjure falsehood for the sake of their own good. So, the eradication of iniquities is the object of my life.

There is nothing so delightful as the hearing, or the speaking of truth. For this reason, there is no conversation so agreeable as that of the man of integrity, who hears without any intention to betray, and speaks without any intention to deceive.

You can never hide from your truth. If you do, you will always be lost.

This spiritual truth is diametrically opposed to the values of our contemporary culture and the way it conditions people to behave.
