In Hindu philosophy the whole creation is regarded as the Vishnu Lila, the play of Vishnu. Lila means dance or play. Also in Hindu philosophy, they call the world illusion; and in Latin the root of the word illusion is ludere, to play.

Projection [of our own shadow] makes the whole world a replica of our own unknown face.

For those who have obtained unobstructed knowledge of Self, the world is seen merely as a bondage causing imagination.

When every action of yours is preceded by witnessing, then every move you make in this world becomes perfect and significant.

Our intellect has created a new world that dominates nature, and has populated it with monstrous machines.

Lack of love for the vegetative, subtle, cthonic, pagan, and sexy aspect of the world means death.

Practice meditation. Become a seeker. Walk the path of the seeker. You will get the best of everything the world has to offer.

Change is the way of the world, and if in this Kali Yuga (Dark Age) it has to go this way, let it go. Unless you are the Lord, you can't stop it anyway, so why berate it?

Success is not rightly measured by the worldly standards of wealth, prestige and power. None of these bestow happiness unless they are rightly used. To use them rightly one must possess wisdom and love for God and man.

Internal peace is an essential first step to achieving peace in the world. How do you cultivate it? It's very simple. In the first place by realizing clearly that all mankind is one, that human beings in every country are members of one and the same family.

The world looks to the priest, because it looks to Jesus! No one can see Christ; but everyone sees the priest, and through him they wish to catch a glimpse of the Lord! Immense is the grandeur of the Lord! Immense is the grandeur and dignity of the priest!

Material things are not to be despised-without them there can be no manifestation in the material world.

It is our minds that create this world.

I believe that at every level of society the key to a happier world is the growth of compassion. We do not need to become religious, nor do we need to believe in an ideology. All that is necessary is for each of us to develop our good human qualities.

Bold words and bolder deeds are what we want. Awake, awake, great ones! The world is burning with misery. Can you sleep?

We do not "come into" this world; we come out of it, as leaves from a tree.

We read many books, but that does not bring us knowledge. We may read all the Bibles in the world, but that will not give us religion. Theoretical religion is easy enough to get, anyone may get that. What we want is practical religion.
