We may not be able to give much but we can always give the joy that springs in a heart that is in LOVE WITH GOD.

Prayer in action is love, and love in action is service. Try to give unconditionally whatever a person needs in the moment. The point is to do something, however small, and show you care through your actions by giving your time ... Do not worry about why problems exist in the world - just respond to people's needs ... We feel what we are doing is just a drop in the ocean, but that ocean would be less without that drop.

Never be so busy as not to think of others

Life is love, enjoy it. Life is mystery, know it. Life is a promise, fulfill it.

The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is the best time you will spend on earth. Each moment that you spend with Jesus will deepen your union with Him and make your soul everlastingly more glorious and beautiful in Heaven, and will help bring about everlasting peace on earth

One truly must have suffered oneself to help others

Your true character is most accurately measured by how you treat those who can do 'Nothing' for you.

Be faithful in small things because it is in them that your strength lies.

In this world, there is no clarity. There is only love and action.

Many people are very, very concerned with the children in India, with the children in Africa where quite a number die, maybe of malnutrition, of hunger and so on, but millions are dying deliberately by the will of the mother. And this is what is the greatest destroyer of peace today. Because if a mother can kill her own child - what is left for me to kill you and you kill me -- there is nothing between.

Nothing makes you happier than when you really reach out in mercy to someone who is badly hurt.

The ocean is made of drops

The fruit of faith is love

A day lived without doing something good for others is a day not worth living.

Hungry not only for bread - but hungry for love. Naked not only for clothing - but naked of human dignity and respect. Homeless not only for want of a home of bricks - but homeless because of rejection.

If you are discouraged it is a sign of pride, because it shows you trust in your own powers. Never bother about other people's opinions. Be humble and you will never be disturbed. Remember St. Aloysius, who said he would continue to play billiards even if he knew he was going to die. Do you play well? Sleep well? Eat well? These are duties. Nothing is small for God.

If our bones were not sending whispers of doubt to our hearts, there would be no need for prayer at all.

The more we empty ourselves, the more room we give God to fill us.

Life is a dream, realise it

February 1997 - National Prayer Breakfast in Washington attended by the President and the First Lady. "What is taking place in America," she said, "is a war against the child. And if we accept that the mother can kill her own child, how can we tell other people not to kill one another."

Justice without love is not justice. Love without justice is not love.

If you think well of others, you will also speak well of others and to others. From the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. If your heart is full of love, you will speak of love.

All that we need to know all the wisdom of the cosmos we will find in our own heart.
