Humanity, divine limitation; Divinity, human perfection.

The path of devotion is the path of divine union.

There are four different theories concerning Divine Providence; they are all ancient, known from the time of the Prophets, when the true law was revealed to enlighten these dark regions.

O Jesus! on this day, you have fulfilled all my desires. From now on, near the Eucharist, I shall be able To sacrifice myself in silence, to wait for Heaven in peace. Keeping myself open to the rays of the Divine Host, In this furnace of love, I shall be consumed, And like a seraphim, Lord, I shall love You.

The ascent to the divine Life is the human journey, the Work of works, the acceptable Sacrifice. This alone is man's real business in the world and the justification of his existence, without which he would only be an insect crawling among the ephemeral insects on a speck of surface mud and water which has managed to form itself amid the appalling immensities of the physical universe.

Threefold are those supreme births of this divine force that is in the world, they are true, they are desirable; he moves there wide-overt within the Infinite and shines pure, luminous and fulfilling.... Of that which is in mortal in mortals, and possessed of the truth, is a God and established inwardly as an energy working out in our divine powers.... Become high uplifted, O Strength, pierce all veils, manifest in as the things of the Godhead.

Little children play with dolls in the outer room just as they like, without any care of fear or restraint; but as soon as their mother comes in, they throw aside their dolls and run to her crying, "Mamma, mamma." You too, are now playing in this material world, infatuated with the dolls of wealth, honour, fame, etc., If however, you once see your Divine Mother, you will not afterwards find pleasure in all these. Throwing them all aside, you will run to her.

Think of Divine Abundance as a mighty, refreshing rain. Whatever receptacle you have at hand will receive it. If you hold up a tin cup, you will receive only that quantity. If you hold up a bowl, that will be filled. What kind of receptacle are you holding up to Divine Abundance?

It's a divine art to be cheerful.

All is divine, all is God, and unity is divinity.

This has to be your first lesson in sannyas: accept yourself, love yourself, drop all guilt, don’t divide yourself. There is nothing higher, nothing lower; all of you is divine. The lowest is as divine as the highest.

One has to do sadhana for the total manifestation of the Divine in oneself.

Meditation makes the man Divine and brings the Divine to the world of man.

Only human beings can change their evil ways, their ups and downs, pitfalls, shortcomings, anger, pride - all their bad qualities. Then they can experience their own divine nature.

As the sun shines both on the cedar and the smallest flower, so the Divine sun illumines each soul.

You are a divine being. You matter, you count. You come from realms of unimaginable power and light, and you will return to those realms.

Spirituality is much wider than any particular religion, and in the larger ideas of it that are now coming on us even the greatest religion becomes no more than a broad sect or branch of the one universal religion, by which we shall understand in the future man's seeking for the eternal, the divine, the greater self, the source of unity and his attempt to arrive at some equation, some increasing approximation of the values of human life with the eternal and the divine values.

Be the wisdom your support. Be the compassion your guide and listen to the Divine Music that beats in every heart.

The principle of Yoga is the turning of one or all powers of our human existence into a means of reaching divine Being.

Be conscious first of thyself within, then think and act. All living thought is a world in preparation; all real act is a thought manifested. The material world exists because an idea began to play in divine self-consciousness.

When the divine vision is attained, all appear equal; and there remains no distinction of good and bad, or of high and low.

This world is a playground. The purpose of the play is divine bliss.

Each minute of life should be a divine quest.
