The cultivation of Human Values alone is Education.

Be a good human being, a warmhearted, affectionate person. That is my fundamental belief.

The intellect of most persons is harnessed by innumerable wants. From the spiritual point of view, such a life is the lowest type of human existence. The highest type of human existence is free from all wants and is characterised by sufficiency or contentment.

I do not hesitate to proclaim before you and before the world that all human life-from the moment of conception and through all subsequent stages-is sacred, because human life is created in the image and likeness of God.

The present gives you the opportunity to dive deep into the water of life, or to fly high into the sky of life. But on both the sides there are dangers - 'past' and 'future' are the most dangerous words in human language.

Taking into account these distinctions, in harmony with the Magisterium of my Predecessors and in communion with the Bishops of the Catholic Church, I confirm that euthanasia is a grave violation of the law of God, since it is the deliberate and morally unacceptable killing of a human person.

You can make any human activity into meditation simply by being completely with it and doing it just to do it.

In today's world, human beings are dying and human machines are taking birth.

Those who conduct themselves with morality, integrity and consistency need not fear the forces of inhumanity and cruelty.

The human person is a unique composite - a unity of spirit and matter, soul and body, fashioned in the image of God and destined to live forever. Every human life is sacred, because every human person is sacred.

Let us not accept violence as the way of peace. Let us instead begin by respecting true freedom: the resulting peace will be able to satisfy the world's expectations, for it will be a peace built on justice, a peace founded on the incomparable dignity of the free human being.

What the word God means is the mystery really. It's the mystery that we face as humans the mystery of existence, of suffering and of death.

The world [is] tired of ideology [and] is opening itself to the truth. The time has come when the splendor of this truth has begun anew to illuminate the darkness of human existence.

I am just one human being.

Peace and the survival of life on earth as we know it are threatened by human activities which lack a commitment to humanitarian values. Destruction of nature and nature's resources result from ignorance, greed and lack of respect for the earth's living things.

Individual Peace paves the way for world peace. The attainment of inner calm is the greatest work you can do for humanity.

It is because the doctrine of human unity based on the spiritual oneness of all beings, is not propagated in the right manner that we have today many divisions leading to many conflicts.

I would suggest that today, we know about as much concerning the human mind as we knew about the galaxy in 1300.

Evolution is the symbol of life, and there is visible evolution in the external world. There should also be inner evolution in every human being, from animality to rationality, and then to divinity.

America you are beautiful . . . and blessed . . . . The ultimate test of your greatness is the way you treat every human being, but especially the weakest and most defenseless. If you want equal justice for all and true freedom and lasting peace, then America, defend life.

One should cultivate human values for healthy living. This calls for harmony in thought, word, and deed. When you cultivate this harmony you will be free from desires and fears.

Happiness is native to the human mind and its physical machine. We think better, perform better, feel better, and are healthier when we are happy.

If one stays too long with friends, they will soon tire of him; living in such closeness leads to dislike and hate. It is but human to expect and demand too much when one dwells too long in companionship.
