The mind is running on all sides to think about many things, - what we call thoughts coming from outside. We must withdraw the mind from these distractions and make it abide in the self. Thus guarding the peace within we shall have to do the work without.

One can see all the deities if one withdraws the restless mind and makes inward himself in the Kutastha.

When I look beyond the mind, I see the witness. Beyond the witness, there is infinite intensity of emptiness and silence.

Whatever state I am in, I see it as a state of mind to be accepted as it is.

By going out of your mind, you come to your senses

Once your mind is calm and full of love, there is no room for hatred or fear. Others will trust you because of your open heart.

Rise above the deceptions and temptations of the mind. This is your duty. Learn to become wise. Desire nothing, give up all desires and be happy. The real spiritual progress of the meditator is measured by the extent to which they achieve inner tranquility and freedom from desire.

Let the mind calm down and the heart start to open. Then everything will be very obvious.

There is the physical mind which is mechanical but the awareness which is the essential character (dharma) of the mind is also to some extent present there.

If you learn to go beyond the jabbering of your mind, and can go to the deeper aspects of your consciousness, then body, breath, and mind will not come in your way.

The mind's capacity is limitless, and its manifestations are inexhaustible. Seeing forms with your eyes, hearing sounds with your ears, smelling odors with your nose, tasting flavors with your tongue, every movement or state is all your mind.

One need not scale the heights of the heavens, nor travel along the highways of the world to find Ahura Mazda. With purity of mind and holiness of heart one can find Him in one's own heart.

Beyond the mind, at the deepest level of consciousnesss, resides the spirit. This is the part of us that is eternal, unchanging, and imbued with pure unlimited potential. Tapping into this potential is what enables us to manifest miracles.

The beauty of a lake reflects the beauty around it. When the mind is still, the beauty of the Self is seen reflected in it.

Any action done with beauty and purity, and in complete harmony of body, mind and soul, is Art.

An intellectual understanding that is not backed by experiential knowledge can lead to mind games and deceptive states.

It's beautiful to be alone. To be alone does not mean to be lonely. It means the mind is not influenced and contaminated by society.

A cup is useful only when it is empty; and a mind that is filled with beliefs, with dogmas, with assertions, with quotations is really an uncreative mind.

People of this world are deluded. They're always longing for something, always, in a word, seeking. But the wise wake up. They choose reason over custom. They fix their minds on the sublime and let their bodies change with the seasons.

When one is without ego, one becomes immediately free of all personal judgements, and perceives life and the world with divine eyes and mind. Nothing is offensive to them and they remain in perfect serenity and peace always.

External circumstances can only cause you physical pain. Suffering is created in your mind.

The high-minded man does not bear grudges, for it is not the mark of a great soul to remember injuries, but to forget them.

You are some kind of a mystery suspended between two eternities. And in that moment, when a mind looks out at a world and asks the question, ‘What is it?’ In that moment art can be created.
