Zazen practice is the direct expression of our true nature. Strictly speaking, for a human being, there is no other practice than this practice; there is no other way of life than this way of life.

Are you capable of risking your life for someone? Do it for Christ.

You should not delay the good things in life. Just do them. Whenever you get a chance to do spiritual practice or seva, don’t miss it. Those are the real precious moments of your life.

The intellect of most persons is harnessed by innumerable wants. From the spiritual point of view, such a life is the lowest type of human existence. The highest type of human existence is free from all wants and is characterised by sufficiency or contentment.

I do not hesitate to proclaim before you and before the world that all human life-from the moment of conception and through all subsequent stages-is sacred, because human life is created in the image and likeness of God.

I have a deep reverence for everything that is alive, a reverence for life itself.

Life's a song, sing it

Our prime purpose in this life is to help others. And if you can't help them, at least don't hurt them.

The present gives you the opportunity to dive deep into the water of life, or to fly high into the sky of life. But on both the sides there are dangers - 'past' and 'future' are the most dangerous words in human language.

Married life, if lived with the proper love and understanding, helps awaken the feminine within a man, and the masculine within a woman.

When there is a fountain of colours, they add charm to your life. In ignorance, emotions are a bother; in knowledge, the same emotions add colours... enjoy the day with Wisdom!

Life calls not for perfection, but for completeness.

Live a sincere life; be natural, and be honest with yourself.

As from a large heap of flowers many garlands and wreaths are made, so by a mortal in this life there is much good work to be done.

The human person is a unique composite - a unity of spirit and matter, soul and body, fashioned in the image of God and destined to live forever. Every human life is sacred, because every human person is sacred.

Just beneath the surface of all experiences in life is God's, or the Guru's, compassionate face.

The greatest romance is with the Infinite. You have no idea how beautiful life can be. When you suddenly find God everywhere, when He comes and talks to you and guides you, the romance of divine love has begun.

The world is full of paradoxes and life is full of opposites. The art is to embrace the opposites, accommodate the paradoxes and live with a smile.

Look at your life in contrast with the magnitude of creation, space and time. Your life becomes insignificant. Ego disappears.

When you do not realize that you are one with the river, or one with the universe, you have fear. Whether it is separated into drops or not, water is water. Our life and death are the same thing. When we realize this fact, we have no fear of death anymore.

Your life is infinite. You are as old as these mountains and you will remain forever.

Purity in thought, refraining from criticizing others, and freedom from vanity and ego are essential in spiritual life.

Life with Christ is a wonderful adventure.
