The power of concentration is the only key to the treasure house of knowledge.

Two things can get people to make efforts: if people want to get something, or if they want to get rid of something. Only, in ordinary conditions, without knowledge, people do not know what they can get rid of or what they can gain.

We must come into a transformed knowing, an unknowing which comes not from ignorance but from knowledge.

Intellect is the knowledge obtained by experience of names and forms; wisdom is the knowledge which manifests only from the inner being; to acquire intellect one must delve into studies, but to obtain wisdom, nothing but the flow of divine mercy is needed; it is as natural as the instinct of swimming to the fish, or of flying to the bird. Intellect is the sight which enables one to see through the external world, but the light of wisdom enables one to see through the external into the internal world.

The knowledgeable person lives with a question mark '?' and the man of awe and wonder lives with an exclamation mark.

Brahman is beyond mind and speech, beyond concentration and meditation, beyond the knower, the known and knowledge, beyond even the conception of the real and unreal. In short, It is beyond all relativity.

Knowledge gives power. In practice it is very simple. To control yourself, know yourself.

Too much of this book knowledge just leads to doubts and confusion. You get too many doubts asking 'what is this?' and 'what is that?', and you waste a lot of time in this conflict.

Knowledge that is not put into practice is like food that is not digested.

Pray and learn to pray! Deepen your knowledge of the Word of the Living God by reading and meditating on the Scriptures.

Just as true humor is laughter at oneself, true humanity is knowledge of oneself.

Love itself is the actual form of God. That is pure bliss. Call it pure bliss, God, Self, or what you will. That is devotion, that is realization and that is everything.

The knowledge from an enlightened person breaks on the hard rocks of ignorance.
